LOCALS’ NIGHT RETURNS TO THE 2026 PARK CITY KIMBALL ARTS FESTIVAL
Summit County Residents can enjoy free festival admission Friday evening, August 7

The Park City Kimball Arts Festival kicks off Friday, August 7, with one of the community’s favorite traditions: Locals’ Night, offering complimentary admission to Summit County residents and homeowners from 5 to 9 p.m.
Held on Historic Main Street, Locals’ Night transforms the opening evening of the festival into a celebration of the local community, bringing neighbors, families, artists, and friends together for an evening of art, live music, food, and connection.
“Locals’ Night is our way of celebrating the people who make Summit County such a special place to live,” said Jaimie Mitchell, Development Specialist at Kimball Art Center. “Every year it feels like a reunion on Main Street. You run into old friends, make new ones, and experience the festival alongside your community.”
The evening offers access to nearly 200 juried artists representing 13 artistic mediums, live music on two stages, food trucks, local restaurants, family art activities, and more. Guests can also visit the Creation Station on Heber Avenue, featuring free community art projects, paid take-home art activities, and a children’s scavenger hunt.
Live music begins as soon as the festival opens, with performances taking place on two live stages throughout the evening. Local favorites Theoretical Blonde, Cosmis Possom, Trio Fratelli, and Will Baxter are slated to perform.
Tickets are available for purchase for non residents, and locals can pre register in advance for free entry into the festival. Advance registration is required for free Locals’ Night tickets. Free tickets will not be available at the festival gates on August 7.
To receive complimentary admission, eligible guests must:
- Register online before the festival at www.kimballartsfestival.org/locals-only/
- Reserve one adult ticket and up to two children’s tickets (ages 6-17) per order.
- Bring a valid photo ID showing your Summit County address when arriving at the festival.
- If the photo ID does not list a Summit County address, bring a current utility bill or other piece of mailed correspondence showing the guest’s name and Summit County address.
Children ages 5 and younger receive free admission and do not require a ticket. Guests whose registration information does not match their proof of residency may have their orders canceled prior to the festival.
While admission is complimentary for eligible local residents during Locals’ Night, the Park City Kimball Arts Festival remains one of the largest fundraisers for Kimball Art Center. Festival proceeds support year-round exhibitions, arts education, and community programs. Kimball Art Center does not take commissions on artist sales, allowing artists to retain 100 percent of their artwork sales.
The 57th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival runs August 7-9, 2026, on Historic Main Street in Park City.
