Arts Fest wouldn’t happen without the selfless dedication of our amazing volunteers. If you’re looking for a way to give back to your community, support the arts, meet new people, be inspired, or rack up some good karma points.
The Park City Kimball Arts Festival is one of the largest festivals in Utah and one of Kimball Art Center’s most celebrated programs.
Proceeds from this three-day event allow us to provide art education in public schools, bring free, world-class exhibitions to Park City, and further our mission: To inspire and connect through art.

- Volunteer goody bag containing great SWAG from sponsors
- Access to the Volunteer Lounge stocked with food and drinks

- Receive a complimentary individual Kimball membership after completing 12hrs of volunteering
Why Should I Volunteer?
In 2018, 387 volunteers donated 2245 hours to make Arts Fest a success. In addition to free admission, volunteer benefits include an appreciation party, snacks and meals while on duty, swag items, and enough good karma points to make up for your college days. If you’re interested, please email: email@example.com.
What Should I Wear?
Your snazzy new volunteer t-shirt of course! We provide the shirts at no cost and ask volunteers to wear them during their shift. You will receive your t-shirt and credentials at check-in. Please wear comfortable shoes and consider weather conditions. We strongly urge you to bring some sort of sun protection as well. Please remember that there is absolutely no drinking alcohol while wearing your volunteer t-shirt. You are welcome to attend Arts Fest before or after your shift, but please only wear your volunteer t-shirt during your shift.
Who can volunteer?
For most shifts we welcome all volunteers 18 or older. For beer garden and VIP tent volunteers the law requires that volunteers be 21 or older. Those under 18 can volunteer in the Kids’ Area, or elsewhere with a parent or guardian.
Where do I park, and what transportation is available?
Parking is incredibly limited (and expensive). Please use the free public bus, walk, or ride your bike.
If you are coming from outside of Park City, park at the Kimball Junction Transit Center and take the Express bus to Main Street. You can find Park City’s full bus schedule here.
We are also offering a Bike Valet, presented by Cole Sport, on 7th Ave accessible via Park Ave. Please plan ahead for extra transportation time!
Where do I check-in and receive my volunteer credentials?
Please check-in for your shift at the Volunteer Lounge, Gateway Center Room 204 (136 Heber Avenue. Park City, UT 84060). You can enter off the corner of Heber Ave and Swede Alley, near Back Door Deli and Handle, then follow the signs in the building to the Volunteer Lounge. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before your shift starts so you can check in, receive your t-shirt, credential, goody bag and grab a bite to eat.
In order to reduce our footprint, we are asking everyone to please bring a water bottle or hydration pack. We will have water stations available for refills.
