Cheap Park City summer activities for less than $20
Park City is a beautiful mountain town, and there’s plenty of affordable fun to be had if you know where to look!
$6 – Park City Gardens Coffee and Greenhouse
Get a treat and explore the cutest greenhouse, plant nursery, home goods shop, and cafe. Don’t miss the stream out back! Follow the calming tones. The huge wind chime and honey beehive combine to make the most soothing sound.
$20 – Thrift the Christian Center
There are two sides: the thrift side and the boutique side. Your money is well spent at both. Park City thrifting is great for gear, decor, and Western wear.
$15 – Kimball Arts Festival (August 7-9)
Admission gets you access to nearly 200 artist booths, 2 stages featuring local musicians and dancers, and art activities for kids AND adults. Parking can be a little tricky, but free shuttles from the resort and high school parking lots make getting to Main Street way easier. It’s the best weekend to explore Main Street Park City, hands down.
$7-8 – Alberto’s Mini Burrito
Probably the best meal deal you can get in Park City. Any of their massive, tasty burritos can be made “mini”—they’re still plenty big for a meal. When they ask for sauce, get the green salsa.
$15 – Park City Museum
Learn about how a mining town became a skiing town with exhibits, videos, and even a visit to the old town jail.
Free – Take the hiking shuttle
Fun fact: the buses in Park City are all free! Unfun fact: the fantastic Blood’s Lake hike has very limited parking. The solution: take the purple shuttle 9 to Bloods Lake Fri-Sun or up to Deer Valley all week long.
$10 – See a local musician
Mountain Town Music keeps Park City’s restaurants and bars full of local musicians every day, all summer long. Check out their website to see who’s playing when you’re in town.
Bonus: Free – Visit Kimball Art Center
Experience world-class art at Park City’s contemporary art museum. Some art pieces are interactive! There are 5 galleries featuring world-renowned contemporary artists in a huge range of experimental mediums. Open Tues–Sun, 10 AM–5 PM.
