"When out capturing images I am overcome with a sense of calm and serenity. The quiet stillness of the world around me is something I relish. When someone views my photographs, this is the mood that I hope is conveyed to them. To achieve this I often employ long shutter speeds that capture the movement of the world around and transfer it to stillness. After capturing an image, sometimes with shutter speeds several minutes long, I process the image digitally with the feeling I had while taking the image in mind. Once an image is ready for display I print, mat, sign, and number the image by hand up to sizes of 16x20. Larger prints on metal are done via a local photo lab with my direct supervision, with in person proofs and oversight to make sure my vision is transfered to the final piece exactly as I saw it. Limited edition prints come in editions ranging from 10 to 250."
