My work pays tribute to both the grand landscape as well as lesser noticed scenes. For me, the pleasure is be able to share these places that have left such a strong impression on me. My hope is that these works will leave the same impression on the viewer. Impressions of awe and wonder, and the distinct notion that beauty is everywhere, you just need to take the time to notice it. As such, none of the photographs in my gallery contain elements which did not exist in the original scene. In order to recreate the emotions I had upon viewing the scene, often multiple exposures of the scene were taken and blended or stitched in an digital dark room. Not with the intent to manipulate the scene but in order to breathe life back into the artwork, to allow the viewer the opportunity to feel the scene the same as I did.
