FESTIVAL DETAILS
FAQS
What kind of weather should I expect?
Park City is at nearly 7,000 ft elevation. The sun is strong, the air is dry and afternoon thunder and rainstorms can occur accompanied by strong winds. We recommend sunscreen and dressing in layers for your comfort.
What happens if it rains?
The Park City Kimball Arts Festival occurs rain or shine. The festival will continue as planned.
Can I bring my pet(s)?
For the comfort and safety of your pet, please do not bring pets to the festival.
How do I get my company’s name out at Arts Fest?
Congrats! You’re wise enough to see the value of promoting your brand to over 55,000 art enthusiasts. Sponsorship opportunities are available and start at just $10,000 for the entire weekend. Email: events@kimballartcenter.org to learn more.
My dog loves art. I should bring him, right?
No. Even if your pooch is a Picasso aficionado, Arts Fest is no place for the four-legged. The asphalt is hot and can burn their paws, there are thousands of people on Main Street and leashes can create a tripping hazard, and fine art and Fido just don’t mix. Please leave your hound at home.
I plan to buy a lot of art but don’t live in Park City. What are my options?
Most artists will arrange to ship artwork for you. There’s also a post office located on Main Street. If all else fails, stop by the Kimball Art Center info booth and we’ll assist you.
I’ve lost something important. What do I do?
All lost then found items (including children, wallets, keys, and spouses), will be immediately taken to the Kimball Art Center information booth, located at the intersection of Heber Ave and Main Street. You can also report something missing to the Kimball staff at this location.
What should I wear?
Your snazzy new volunteer t-shirt of course! We provide the shirts at no cost and ask volunteers to wear them during their shift. You will receive your t-shirt and credentials at check-in. Please wear comfortable shoes and consider weather conditions. We strongly urge you to bring some sort of sun protection as well. Please remember that there is absolutely no drinking alcohol while wearing your volunteer t-shirt. You are welcome to attend Arts Fest before or after your shift, but please only wear your volunteer t-shirt during your shift.
Where do I park, and what transportation is available?
Parking is incredibly limited (and expensive). Please use the free public bus, walk, or ride your bike.
If you are coming from outside of Park City, park at the Kimball Junction Transit Center and take the Express bus to Main Street. You can find Park City’s full bus schedule here.
We are also offering a Bike Valet, presented by Cole Sport, on 7th Ave accessible via Park Ave. Please plan ahead for extra transportation time
