Starting with two sheets of copper, I texture and buff the metal. Heat is applied to bring out the beautiful vibrant colors in the copper. Gentle curves are cut, and the weft and warp are carefully woven together. A special coating seals and protects the colors from further oxidation. Then the piece is framed or backed with a hand sanded aluminum sheet.
