Sculpted by fire on a torch, pure gold and silver are suspended in glass creating unique, wearable glass jewelry. I make all of the leaves, millifiore flowers and sea coral murrine as well as my exclusive signature cane. Slices of these murrine canes are inlaid into the molten glass to create an imaginary nature scene. I hand cut and inlay the glass into my own hand fabricated sterling silver jewelry component pieces. My exclusive and innovative sterling silver and magnetic bracelet clasp is a patent pending design. My inspiration for colors & designs come from nature and the special challenge of my medium. When we first look at glass, we see a solid; static, with no movement. My work strives to show the true liquid nature of glass for it is truly a liquid at high temperatures. I create silver components using both lost wax casting and hand fabrication to present my glass visions in unique, wearable art.
